The purpose of
this Web site is to enhance your understanding of the
Wilmington House of Prayer. We've

provided a number of resources here for you to enjoy.
The prayer room has been
designed to reflect the tabernacle of David (1 Chr. 22–24); where we
never cease worshiping the Lord and interceding for our world.
We want you to feel comfortable, whether as a participant or an
anonymous visitor. You are welcome to stay in the prayer room as
long as you like. While in the prayer room, feel free to sing along
with the worship teams, read your Bible, study a favorite
commentary, write in your journal, or just pray. You may sit, stand,
or even pace up and down the aisles. Whatever you do, we ask that
you do it in a manner that honors and serves the other people in the
room.
If you have any questions while visiting, please do not hesitate to
ask an attendant.
The Wilmington House
of Prayer is a community of believers from various congregations
calling out to prepare the way of the Lord for regional
transformation.

Why a Prayer Room?
Central to the work of the missions base is our 24/7 prayer room,
inspired by David’s tabernacle (1
Chr. 23:5;
25:7), where
4,000 singers and 288 musicians were employed as their full-time
occupation to minister to the Lord and serve the community.
Scripture teaches that night and day prayer is crucial for the
fullness of God’s power and purpose to be released (Lk.
18:7–8;
Isa. 62:6–7).
We are offering Jesus unceasing adoration, while contending for
justice and the power of the Holy Spirit to be manifest and bring
transformation in the seven spheres of society.

It's our desire as a
House of Prayer in our community to co-labor with our Lord for the
following purposes:
* To build a wall of prayer with the
living stones of the unified body of Christ through Intercessory
Worship; to be watchmen on the wall for our region, state, and
nation.
* To provide an atmosphere of personal devotion to our
Bridegroom King Jesus.
* To provide personal prayer ministry.
* To help equip the saints for the work of ministry.
